I consistently use Orange Blossom Honey–it’s a very light honey (in both color and taste), so I’m wondering if I haven’t had an issue for this reason. I’m currently working on a new face wash recipe without the honey, for people who prefer something without this ingredient. As long as a honey is raw and preferably organic, it is great for skin use.


Typically, I wash my face at night with the oil cleansing method since it also removes makeup, and use the honey face mask in the morning before showering. Warm up the honey as in the basic honey face mask recipe. Put the warm honey together with the egg white, chamomile flowers, mint and essential oil in a bowl and gently mix it until you have a smooth and uniform paste.
