Honey mud mask recipe

The mud part of this recipe comes from the addition of clay. Substitute with other clays if desired. Rhassoul or French green clay would be great options too. Find more information about which clays are suitable for which skin type here.

Mix the bentonite clay with the powdered herbs (if using) in a small bowl. Add honey and mix to form a thick paste. Mud Mask Instructions. Add enough warm water to form a thin paste. Add lavender essential oil (if using).

Immediately apply to face and neck in a circular motion, avoiding the eyes. The base is Indian Healing Clay which is readily available at most natural food stores and is also known to be cleansing for the pores. Whisk together the honey , mud , oil, and witch hazel in a small bowl. The Dead Sea mud I used is from Saffire Blue, and it’s quite runny.


If yours is more paste-like, use ½ tsp of the mud and add another ½ tsp of witch hazel. Sprinkle in the silk and clay a little at a time, whisking between additions. Pure raw honey – tablespoon. Distilled water – tablespoon. Mix a oatmeal into a paste with hot water.

Using a blender, grind the apple, honey and yogurt to a smooth consistency. Add the oatmeal and mix again. Apply the mask onto your face. Let sit for minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.


Gently spread it over the entire face. Once your mask is mixe apply it liberally to your face. Allow it to dry, about minutes, before washing off with soap and warm water.


Note: This mask is meant to be used in one use and will not store well, as it does not contain preservatives. This mud mask recipe will not only unclog pores and reduce acne, but also make your skin glow naturally. If the clay dries before minutes go ahead and remove mask.


Combine the bentonite clay, honey , and water. Please do not use a metal utensil or bowl when working with bentonite clay. To remove the mask , wash your face with warm water and a washcloth. They’re antibacterial and anti-inflammatory,. Soak a clean cloth in warm water and place it on your face for a minute.

Take a ceramic bowl and add clay powder to it. Add lemon juice, oil, and water and mix well. Leave the mask on for minutes. Then rinse off with warm water. Your will need: tablespoon honey teaspoon lemon juice.


Detox: There is no standard to how much mud mask should detoxify the skin, but based on your skin type, mud mask to detoxify the free radicals and fights bacterias to ensure you stay away from skin diseases. These recipes are perfect for parties and for groups because they work on all types of skin.
